About us

Room Shop was founded by Shelly Horst along with her husband Dryw after being laid off from a high stress corporate fashion job. Room Shop is the brand of her dreams, focusing her design mentality of whimsy and creating "little joys" for her customer and balancing them with a small batch, sustainability focus.

Room Shop is small batch meaning we never make thousands of units of anything, we produce what the customer demands and work on short turnaround timelines to restock. All of our products are made in Philadelphia, PA which helps us invest in our community as well as keep our carbon footprint low.  We strive for low waste by designing smaller products to use the offcuts (patchwork, lip gloss coozies, etc) and we recycle what is left.
